The museum of jewish heroism & the holocaust

20,000 Soviet women were officers during the war. At various times on the fronts, with weapons in their hands, between 600,000 and a million representatives of the weak species fought. In particular, the volunteer women made up 3 night bombers - which the Germans referred to as night witches. During the war 87 women received the title of a hero of the Soviet Union, some of whom were Jewish women, about whom the museum exhibits. In the photo (near the Ashdod women's display), the front fighters, a major in the medical corps, crippled our war, and 92-year-old Rebecca Nepadanskia.
