A year before the museum was founded in Put in, he brought with him 67 photographs of World War II.
There was an exhibition of these pictures
(The founder - liked the pictures and asked to leave them in the country so he asked the municipality to open a museum and the municipality approved).
[Everything is real - from that time.]
He had all these pictures and there was no building here and nothing and he decided to build a structure here. And what he wanted to do was open a museum.
The first thing we built is the Great Hall.
They also had a lot of help from people outside the country.
He built for families that had the most war and asked for the families to bring all kinds of things they had left of the war to get into the museum.
They realized it was really serious (the families) so they started bringing them serious things and lots of things from that era.
It's special that all the things of that time and they decided to bring them to the museum and it's high-value things that brought them free.
The founders realized they needed to think of a way to build the museum. Put together a plan to open the museum. Concept and structure (9.10.1997 - opened the museum was the opening).
They had a lot of work to open the museum. It was interesting and lots of important people came from all kinds of places.
In the Land of Israel there was no museum for Jewish heroes who fought in the war. And that was the first and brought about the idea of making such a museum.
There were thousands of visitors not just from the country. People were very taken aback by the heroes of the war.
In the picture in front of the entrance - a recent war in Berlin that put a Russian flag over Hitler's bunker.
The founder knows who put the flag that symbolizes the end of the war. (They lived next to each other) The war ended (May 1945)
They built everything on their own. And what in black yellow - soldiers who died from Ashdod.
In the Great Hall the pictures above in black and white - the pictures that Putin brought.
No museum in the world has original forms like language.
There was a Berlin commander who died and his family wanted only to give Ephraim a Jewish man. And not to anyone else. They got loads of documents that had no place in the museum to store them.
Things were original from the war period.
